OUT OF ZONE ENROLMENT
It is likely that we will have spaces for out of zone enrolments each year.
Each year the School Board will determine the number of places which are likely to be available in the following year for the enrolment of students who live outside the home zone. This will be done by September 1st.
It is also likely that at other points throughout the year, spaces will be available for those on the waiting list or expressions of interest. If needed, we will also hold a Term 2 ballot.
In 2023 we have expressions of interest and some students on a waitlist therefore will hold a ballot for out of zone students in week 6 of Term 2 - Friday 2nd of June. This will be advertised and the waitlist and expressions of interest contacted.
The Board will publish this information by notice in our community newsletter circulating in the area served by the school. The notice will indicate how applications are to be made and will specify a date by which all applications must be received and starting dates for successful students.

OUT OF ZONE BALLOT - For students wanting to start in 2023
If you live outside our school zone we have the following mid-year spaces available:
New entrants - 1 space
Year 3 - 3 spaces
Year 7 - 6 spaces
Applications are open on May 23rd. The deadline for out of zone applications is June 2nd. The ballot will take place on June 6th.
The start dates for successful out of zone students from this ballot will be from 12th June.
Please contact the school office via office@taupaki.school.nz to express your interest for the ballot of these spaces. You can collect an ‘out of zone’ application form from the school office or we can post one out to you. Forms must be completed and returned to the office by 3pm on the 2nd June.
