We take a keen interest in sport and many of our students take part in organised school sports teams run by dedicated parents and teachers. We offer a range of sports including soccer, swimming, softball, netball, squash, touch, gymnastics and athletics. Students have the chance to represent our school in regular sports field days in a wide variety of sports, including Centennial Soccer matches and the Auckland Champs. Each year you will be able to support your child at a number of school wide sporting events such as Athletics, Gymnastics and Cross Country.

At the Year 7 and 8 level, we select and enter teams in the North West Sports Zone competitions. These are sport-specific events, with the winners advancing to represent the North West at the Champion of Champions Events.

The Centennial Soccer matches with Huapai School take place in term three, with teams from years 1&2, 3&4, 5&6, and 7&8 competing for Centennial trophies. If your child is interested please keep an eye out for trials and practice times.
