Hero is our Student Management System. This means that all students who are enrolled at Taupaki School have their details loaded into the Hero programme.
Hero is then used for
Parents/Caregivers to notify the school of student absences.
Teachers to load students results and progress. School reports can be viewed through Hero.
Parents/Caregivers to view fees that may be outstanding to the school, (for class trips or sporting activities, etc.).
Open the lines of communication between Taupaki School and the whanau of our students. Class notices and our school newsletter is sent out through Hero.
Once your child has started with us at Taupaki School, they will be loaded into the Hero programme within 48 hours. Once this step has been completed by the Enrolment Officer, you will be able to view your child's information and see notices through your Hero App. To download your Hero App, please go to the apple app store or google play store and search 'Hero by LINC-ED'. Once downloaded, click on 'new user' and enter the same email address you have used in your child's enrolment form. Hero can only have one user per email address so please ensure Taupaki School has an email address loaded for each parent/caregiver. If you have any issues with this process, please do not hesitate to bring your phone into the office and we will try to help you.
It is essential to have the Hero App with the notifications turned on. All school notices, updates and newsletters are sent out via this app. Your child's school report is also sent through the Hero App for you to view and print.
