Technology Centre

Our purpose built facilities service the technology needs of the local full primary schools. Specialised programmes cater for over 400 Year 7 & 8 students from Taupaki, Waitakere, Huapai, Riverhead, Timatanga and Waimauku Schools.

Students attend one day per week for half a year. They rotate around the three technology rooms every six weeks experiencing Hard Materials, Soft Materials and Food Technology. Our teachers are specialists in their fields. We believe that we maximise learning time by taking technology classes for a full day, there is more time to sustain a project to completion.

We are grateful that the Pinepac ITM group sponsor our centre, this is an important relationship that benefits a number of students in the Northwest region.
