Room 4

Term 2: Through the Looking Glass 

The Junior School decided to make this into an Arts focus with all the weird, wonderful and beautiful things to be appreciated (just as Alice did). 

Our Enduring Understandings are

We are all creative

We respect and value other people’s art

The Arts may reflect culture and heritage

We have included all Arts disciplines, Visual Art, Dance, Drama and Music.

Room 4 has been appreciating work by known artists, and trying to work using their painting techniques. Our Hot and Cold pictures are a link between Term 1 when we learnt about hot and cold colours, and this term’s art focus. New Zealand artist Graham Braddock taught us pencil sketching of faces.
