This term our topic is "Unreal"

.Our Enduring Understandings for this topic are:-

The World is an AMAZING place

* It is important to do your best.

* Powerful questions help us locate meaningful information

We are always learning.

In Maths, we are concentrating on Number and doing a variety of Geometry tasks.

Sally from WaterCare is coming back to show us all about water filters and we will be doing some water experiments.

As you can see it is going to be a busy exciting term.

Of course we will all be cup stacking on November 13th to help break the record for the number of people cup stacking in a variety of locations on one day. ( for the Guinness Book of Records)

eek  2           Term 4     14.10.08

Dear ParentsWhat a hive of activity Room 1 was onThursday afternoon. There was some amazing creations. I  I'm sure everyone enjoyed seeing all the animals on Friday. It's so wonderful to see how the children manage their pets and I was so impressed with the horse-riding. I hope you were able to see all the great work that the children did. Some people need to remember that term 4 is the term for wearing hats. There are still some LiP’s folders that should be returned to school now please.

This term the children will be reading novels and doing some reading activities related to their novel. I am choosing the novels at the moment but when that is finished, they can choose their own novels.

Book orders will go off this week.

THANK YOU to those people who have responded to the posters that the children made and took home last Monday. Fleur Hunter will be contacting every parent in R 1 to  ask how you can help us in the School Fireworks Night.

Best wishes

Joan Western
