Mr T's Science Day

Check out our compost collages-

Maisie suggested that "Toadstools make compost and if we didn't have mushrooms and toadstools we wouldn't have lovely plants."

Phoenix said that "The creatures in the compost are snails, centipedes, slugs and worms."

Kyla thought that the twigs have to start rotting before the creatures can eat them.

Derryn said that "If the creatures weren't there we couldn't plant our Pepino stalk and Onion."

Our garden when we first planted it at the end of August. Squeezing Juice

We have been talking about fruit and used this machine to get juice from an orange. We pushed the lever down to squeeze the flesh and juice ran from the spout into our cups. Check out our diagrams below. Russell's Juice Maker
