Welcome to Room 2

Welcome to Room Two's web page.

We are a bunch of curious and eager to learn year one and two children.  In our class we all have a variety of talents which have been coming out over the past two terms.

Our bigger picture learning for term three at Taupaki School is 'What it means to be a Kiwi?'  In Room Two we are mainly focusing on Dairy Farming, as this is a huge part of being a New Zealander.  We are having guest speakers (farmers), and a trip to a local farm.

Room Two's children have been interested in this topic and we have had a bull's skull brought in as well as plenty of books and pictures from the newspaper and magazines brought in.  It is great to see such passion for their learning.
